HISTORY

Bennett Schneider was opened in the early 1930s on the Country Club Plaza.  The store became well known as one of Kansas City’s premiere bookstores. As time passed, and the large box bookstores rolled into town, Bennett Schneider changed it’s focus and became Kansas City’s premier stationer.   

Having existed on the plaza for almost 70 years, Bennett Schneider made a move to the Crestwood Shops in 1997 and has made this quaint shopping  center it’s home and the home for Kansas City’s finest stationery and invitations.
